Conference Room Offers Water Damage in Affton

A large water supply line broke in the ceiling on this conference center in Affton. The break dumped a volume of water onto the floors and some of the equipment and fixtures in one of the meeting rooms. The source of the leak was stopped before our SERVPRO techs arrived on the scene. Our task was to quickly surface dry the equipment, especially the electronics, and vacate the dense moisture that was in the air. We quickly set up gel based dehumidifier to draw out the humidity to further protect the interior components of the building and the furnishings. We also worked on drying out the crawl space above the drop-ceiling once we secured the below items to reduce secondary water damage.
